IPDC launches book lending

IPDC Finance Limited has introduced the world’s first interest-free book loan titled “Subodh” for book lovers, according to a statement.

With the slogan “Notun boiyer ghrane, subodh jaguk prane”, the product was recently launched on the premises of Bangla Academy.

Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of IPDC, singer of Souls Partha Barua, Head Evangelist of Robi 10 Minute Arif R Hossain School, and others were present at the ceremony.

The product can be enjoyed throughout the duration of the Ekushey Boi Mela. The offer is offered to inspire young people of the new generation to read books.

A book lover must have their national ID card and the app from mobile financial service provider bkash to take advantage of the offer. All information and assistance related to the service are available on the PIDC stand installed at the show. In addition, a person can also take out an instant loan from the booth.

A beneficiary can take out a loan of up to Tk 3000 which can be paid in three installments. The amount must be used by three transactions.

Commenting on the offer, Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of the IPDC, said: “To stimulate the exuberance of bookworms and bring back the habit of reading among the children of the present generation, the IPDC offered this offer. We hope that ‘Subodh’ help people buy books from their favorite writers.
